Riding School


We cater for riders of all abilities from the age of four. Beginner lessons contain no more than 5 riders, each with a leader. Lessons are structured into ability levels to ensure that the correct level of instruction can be given to provide the ideal environment for learning and improvement. As riders progress, lessons are varied to include jumping and games – we always aim for our lessons to be as enjoyable as possible whilst still improving ability.

We have a range of horses and ponies to suit the most nervous beginner to the ambitious show jumper. We are very proud of our reputation for the highest quality of horse care – you are welcome to come and have a look around the yard and view the horses at any time before committing to a lesson.

Dress
We provide riding hats for beginners free of charge but strongly recommend a hat is purchased as a priority item once you have decided to continue with your riding. Footwear is also an important consideration for purchase - a boot with a heel is required for rider safety. Riders are not permitted to ride in trainers or unsuitable footwear. Comfortable trousers (jeans are not recommended) such a leggings or jogging pants are ideal for starters.

24hr notice will be required for a cancellation and refund.
Friday evenings 6pm from St Annes North Car Park.
Max 4 riders – rides are escorted.
Beach rides are available at other times for a minimum of 2 riders – please ask for more details.

CANCELLATION
No cancellation fee applies if you contact us 24 hours prior to your lesson. If you have to cancel “on the day” then a £5 fee will be charged on group lessons and full payment due for private/semi-private lessons.
